Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies kog-group.com uses and how you can control them. Optional cookies stay off until you accept them.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

Draft text prepared for the new site. To be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels or tags, work in a comparable way. In this policy we call all of them "cookies".

Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by another company whose service runs on our site (third-party cookies). Session cookies end when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period.

2. How we use cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum:

  • Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Without them the site, its forms or your cookie choices would not work. They do not need your consent, but we tell you about them here.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement cookies are optional. We do not use them at the moment. If we add Google Analytics 4 or the LinkedIn Insight Tag, they will run only after you accept them, and we will update this policy first.
  • Third-party services such as WhatsApp, Messenger, our live chat and Google Maps do not set cookies when you open a page. They do so only when you click a WhatsApp or Messenger link, open the live chat, or choose to load the map.

We do not use cookies to sell your data, and we do not load social media plugins that follow you across pages.

4. Your choices and how to change them

On your first visit, a cookie banner asks for your choice. "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Settings" are shown with equal prominence. Optional cookies stay off until you accept them, and rejecting them does not limit your use of the site.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. When you withdraw, we stop the optional tools and, where possible, delete the cookies they set.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as the forms, may not work, and the banner will appear again.

6. Data sent to other countries

If you accept analytics or advertising cookies, Google and LinkedIn may process the data in the United States and other countries. Meta and Google may do the same when you use WhatsApp, Messenger or Google Maps. Our Privacy Policy explains the safeguards we use for international transfers.

7. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for the period shown in the table above, unless you delete them earlier. If we add analytics, we will set it to keep data for no longer than 14 months. Third parties keep data under their own policies.

8. Changes to this policy

Before we add a new cookie or tool, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page. If a change needs your consent, we will ask again through the cookie banner.
