Working with KOG
What does KOG Group do?
KOG Group (KOG Strategic Partners Limited) is an Istanbul based procurement partner. We find, vet and manage Turkish manufacturers for furniture, lighting, building materials and flooring, and run the process from RFQ to delivery for clients in Europe, the UK, the Middle East and the USA.
How is KOG different from a sourcing agent or a trading company?
A sourcing agent usually introduces suppliers. We manage the whole procurement: supplier identification, price benchmarking, due diligence, negotiation, production follow-up, quality control and logistics, under one plan and with one accountable contact.
How does KOG use AI?
Our team uses AI tools to analyse specifications, match requirements to supplier capabilities and benchmark prices. Procurement specialists validate every recommendation. AI speeds up the work, it does not make decisions on its own.
What project sizes do you handle?
Our team has managed projects from about €1 million to €10 million. If your project is smaller, send the request anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
How do fees work?
The fee model depends on the scope of the project and is agreed in writing before any work starts. We explain it together with our first proposal, so there are no surprises later.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Drawings, specifications and pricing are treated as confidential and shared with manufacturers only as far as needed to get quotes. We can sign an NDA before you send documents.
Sourcing from Türkiye
Why source from Türkiye?
Türkiye combines a deep manufacturing base in furniture, ceramics, aluminium, lighting and textiles with short routes to Europe. Industrial goods are covered by the EU and Türkiye Customs Union, and lead times are usually shorter than from Asia.
What can KOG source?
Hotel, office, educational, hospital and retail furniture, LED and decorative lighting, ceramic tiles, marble, aluminium door and window systems, bathroom fittings, epoxy flooring and manufacturing components.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Our published projects were delivered to Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe and the United Arab Emirates. We also support importers in the USA.
Do Turkish products meet EU standards?
Many Turkish manufacturers produce for the EU market and CE mark products where required. We check certificates and test reports for each project against your specification and can arrange third party inspection.
Quality and delivery
How do you check quality?
Quality is set before production with approved samples or mock-ups. We follow production at the factory, inspect finished goods before shipment and can add third party inspection for critical items.
Who handles shipping and customs?
We coordinate logistics with freight forwarders and prepare export documents such as the commercial invoice, packing list and A.TR or certificate of origin. Incoterms are agreed per project. Import clearance at destination is handled by your customs broker or one we coordinate with.
Can you deliver to site and install?
Delivery to site is planned against your schedule. Installation can be part of the project scope. In our London office project, delivery and installation took one week and finished 15 days ahead of schedule.
Can I visit the factories?
Yes. If you want to see factories in person, we plan the visits as part of the project. You are also welcome at our office in Şişhane, Beyoğlu, by appointment.
Commercial terms
What should I send with my request?
Specifications, drawings or a BOQ, quantities, target delivery date, delivery address or preferred Incoterm, a budget range if you have one, and any standards or certificates the products must meet.
How do payments to manufacturers work?
Payment terms are agreed per project. Common structures in international sourcing are a deposit with the balance before shipment, or a letter of credit. We recommend tying payments to inspection milestones.
Are the savings in your case studies guaranteed?
No. The figures are results reported for specific past projects and depend on scope, specification, volume and market conditions. We give you a realistic estimate once we have reviewed your request.
